Yolanda S Dufresne, age 87, of Hamden Connecticut, died peacefully on Monday February 10, 2014 at the Connecticut Hospice of Branford. Born in New Haven Connecticut, the daughter of the late Aurelia and Segundo Scavino, she was a lifetime resident of New haven and Hamden. She was formerly employed at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Yolanda is survived by her loving husband Gerald H Dufresne of Hamden, brothers Mark Scavino and his wife Dolly of Hamden and Edward Scavino of Wallingford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Hamden Health Care Center, the Connecticut Hospice and the staff at Yale New Haven Hospital for all their Support and caring. Arrangements are being handled by the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Pl., Stratford CT. At the request of the family all Services will be private. A Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Hamden will be announced at a later date.
