William Thomas Romatzick Jr., passed away suddenly March 8th, 2014, in Vermont, with his wife by his side. He was born June 21, 1953 to William T Romatzick Sr. and Ethel Wagner Romatzick. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 37 years Susan and his three sons, Jeffrey and his wife Alicia, Thomas and his wife Rose, Gregory and his wife Lizette. He has six grandchildren who were the light of his life – Emma, Jeffrey Jr., Grace, Amy, Oliver and Elodie Romatzick. He also has two sisters Marylou Maziarz (John) and Jo-Ann Dudics (Julius), many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He graduated from Bunnell High School in 1971 and was the owner of Wagner Air Conditioning Service for 25 years. He then went to work for Fairfield University as the Manager of Energy Controls and Plant Systems. He was very involved with his sons and their activities throughout their lives and continues it with his grandchildren. He also volunteered his time toward youth activities such as being the coordinator of the YMCA Indian Guides, a coach for SPAL Rifle Club and ran the Bunnell field house for many years. He enjoyed many outdoor activities and especially enjoyed traveling with his wife and family. He was always happy to lend a hand to anyone in need without even being asked. His finest qualities were his love for his family, his generosity and the enjoyment of helping others. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may greet his family from 4-8 PM on Friday in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
