William J. (Bill) Haschak Sr., age 72, of Stratford, beloved husband of Christine E. Burns Haschak, passed away from a massive heart attack, on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Bill, was born in Bridgeport to the late Michael and Mary (Scianna) Haschak Sr, and has been a life long area resident. He was retired from Ashcroft Inc, after forty years of service. Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a member of the N.R.A. and a life member of the North American Hunting Club. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife, include his devoted children, Christine M. Minutolo and her husband Pasquale of Bridgeport, Kimberly Lee Haschak-Correa, and William J. Haschak Jr, both of Stratford, 4 cherished grandchildren, Vincenzo P. Minutolo, Marco A. Correa, Tina-Marie Minutolo, and Zachariah E. Correa, 2 sisters-in-law, Irene Haschak, and Sharon Ryan, a special niece, Dawn Marie Frerrara, several other nieces and nephews, and his beloved pets, Tyson, Jasmine and Midnight. In addition to his parents, Bill was pre-deceased by his brother Michael. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 4th at 9:45 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
