Carl Binder age 85 of Stratford, beloved husband of the late Ilse Schultz Binder, passed away on Sunday March 15, 2009 in his home. Mr. Binder, a retired mechanic for Pratt & Whitney was born in Germany and has been a long time area resident. He was a member of The Baldwin Center, Shelton Seniors and the Sikorsky Club of which he was past president. Survivors include his devoted son William Binder and his wife Evelyn of Bridgeport, 3 grandsons Michael Binder and his wife Ashley, William and David Iannucci, a great-grandson Christian and former daughter-in-law Debbie Binder. Friends may greet his family on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. officiated by Rev. Dr. Robert Genevicz. Interment will be private.
