Obituary

Ewen "Wayne" LaPuglia "The Wanderer", age 64 of Milford, the beloved husband of Karen Rolfe LaPuglia passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Beverly, MA to the late Guglielmo and Eleanor (Lamont) LaPuglia he has resided in Milford since 1969 and was a veteran of US Coast Guard during the Viet Nam War. Wayne was the Founder of Connecticut Kustom Kemps of Milford, CT and was past State Colonel of K.K.O.A. He was best known for his cooking and affiliation with Waynes Place at the Milford Harbor. Survivors include his beloved wife of 34 years Karen: 2 daughters Cheryl Laluna of Milford and Michele Mantegna of West Haven; a son Michael LaPuglia of Stratford; 7 grandchildren Joseph and Samantha Laluna, Amanda and Bruce Mantegna and Jacob, Dominick and Zachary LaPuglia; a brother William "Douglas" LaPuglia of Milford; a sister Nancy Ann Jenkins of MA and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, April 28th from 5-7 in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A prayer service will be held at 6:45pm with Rev. Dr. Robert Genevicz officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in Wayne's memory to the American Lung Association of CT 45 Ash ST, East Hartford, CT 06108-3272.
