Vivian Radachowsky Sienko age 86 of Trumbull passed away at the University of Connecticut Health Care Center in Farmington, on Saturday August 23, 2008. Mrs. Sienko, the widow of John Sienko Jr., was born in Bridgeport to the late John and Bertha (Luchanan) Radachowsky and has been a life long area resident. A pioneer in Pharmacy, she was one of only three women to graduate from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy Class of 1943. She was the proprietor of Vivian's Pharmacy in Bridgeport for over thirty years, and was a founding member and one of the oldest members of Presentation of Christ in the Temple Russian Orthodox Church in Stratford. Survivors include her 3 beloved children Dr. John N. Sienko and his wife Wendy, Robert Sienko and his wife Sheila all of Wallingford and Vivian Young and her husband Joel of Farmington, 4 cherished grandchildren John and his wife Amy, Robert, Stacey and Alexandra, a sister Derith Huchko of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday August 26th at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10 a.m. in Presentation of Christ in the Temple Russian Orthodox Church Stratford for a Requiem Funeral Service. (Divine Liturgy will begin at 8 a.m.) Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford.
