Veronica (Ronnie) Hovan Ivanovich, age 94, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Stephen Ivanovich, passed away on April 19, 2017 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport with her family at her side. Ronnie was born in Bridgeport on April 29, 1922 to the late Andrew and Veronica (Swatt) Hovan and has been a life long area resident. She was retired from the Bridgeport Brass Company. Survivors include her devoted children, Judith Curtin and her husband Gregory of Orange, Paula Sutton and her husband Steven of Stonington, and Stephen Ivanovich of Stratford, 5 cherished grandchildren whom will deeply miss her, Matthew, David and Lindsey Sutton and Jeffrey and Brian Curtin, a brother, John Hovan and his wife Ann of Trumbull, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was pre-deceased by her brother, Andrew Hovan.
