Vera M. Kochiss Lampart, age 98, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late John T. Lampart Sr., passed away on July 8, 2017 in Griffin Hospital, Derby. Vera, a homemaker was born in Stratford on November 2, 1918 to the late John and Pauline (Zenchu) Kochiss, and has been a life long area resident. She was an avid gardener, but most of all loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her devoted children, Joan Pategas and her husband Eugene of Shelton, Carol Brainard of Stratford, and John T. Lampart Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Derby, 8 grandchildren, Eugene Pategas Jr. (Julianna), Thomas (Victoria) Pategas, Kathryn (Scott) Callahan, Jillian (Brian) Gardiner, Anthony (Beth) Bernardo, Melissa Daskam, John Lampart III, and Jackie (John) Gerimia, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Vera was pre-deceased by her son-in-law, Wilbur Brainard, granddaughter-in-law, Ellen Lampart, sisters, Margaret Novak and Mary Marshall, and brothers, John, Joseph, Andrew, Edward and William Kochiss. Heaven gained another angel today.   We will always remember the constant smile on your face when we were with you, and will always love you.   Your worry free attitude got you to 98, and we will miss you and have you in our hearts forever. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 13 ^th at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday form 4-7 p.m.
