Vera M. Andreev, age 73, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025. Vera was born in Bridgeport on September 27, 1952, to the late Alexander and Tatjana (Lewykin) Michailovsky and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Bassick High School and worked in the gift shop at Bridgeport Hospital. Vera was an active member of Presentation of Christ Russian Orthodox Church in Stratford. Survivors include her sister, Lydia Resnikoff living in Australia, aunt and uncle, Alla and Ivan Lewykin and several nieces and nephews.

Pannikhida will take place on Wednesday November 5, 2025, at 6:30 pm in The Presentation of Christ in the Temple Russian Orthodox Church, 5-Wheeler Terrace, Stratford. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday November 6th at 8:00 am, followed by a Requiem Funeral Service at 10:00 am. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery-Monroe, CT.
