Obituary

Timothy J. Landrum, 70, of Stratford, beloved husband of Joanne Torreso Landrum, passed away on April 9, 2026. Born in Lakewood, California on November 30, 1955, he was the son of the late Dale and Barbara (Lungren) Landrum and had been a longtime resident of the Stratford area. He was a graduate of Artesia High School, Class of 1973, and dedicated many years of service as an alarm technician with Security Specialists of Stamford.

Tim was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy in life was his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Joanne; his cherished daughter, Sarah (Landrum) Miller, and her husband, Mark; and his adored granddaughters, Brooklyn and Olivia. Known affectionately as “Papa,” Tim took immense pride in his role as a grandfather. He was a constant presence at his granddaughters’ basketball games, their biggest cheerleader, and lovingly referred to them as “my girls,” always striving to bring smiles to their faces.

A true “jack of all trades,” Tim enjoyed working with his hands and found happiness in hunting and fishing. He was known for his quick wit and unforgettable one-liners, bringing laughter to those around him. Tim loved deeply and unconditionally, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Tim was predeceased by his sister, Karen.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, April 17, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. during the visitation.
