Thomas J. Therriault Jr., age 93, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Elinor Tomasko Therriault, passed away on August 9, 2023, at Bridgeport Hospital.

Tom was born in Montclair, New Jersey on July 15, 1930, to the late Thomas J. and Marie (Champey) Therriault Sr. and had been a longtime area resident. He was a graduate of Harding High School, class of 1948 and earned his BS from the University of Bridgeport. He was also a graduate of The Bentley School of Accounting and Southern Connecticut State University, where he earned a Sixth-Year degree. Tom was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and was retired comptroller for Southern Connecticut State University. He was an avid golfer, and a member of the Tashua Knolls Men's Golf League and VFW Post 9460- Stratford.

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 69 years, include his devoted children, Thomas J. Therriault III and his wife Ellen of Trumbull, Robert J. Therriault and his wife Nancy of Burlington, Jeanette Sypek and her husband Thomas of Massachusetts, Kevin M. Therriault and his wife Cindy of Trumbull, and Jill Sciuto and her husband Frank of Milford, 13 cherished grandchildren, Thomas, Melinda, Nicholas, Jaime, Ryan, Tyler, Kayla, Sarah, Nolan, Kevin, Brette, Brady, and Colin, 9 great-grandchildren, a brother, Paul Therriault (Peggy) of New Jersey, brother-in-law, Ralph Giammattei, sisters-in-law, Helen Tomasko and Wanda Therriault, a cousin, Barbara, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom was pre-deceased by his grandson, Robert Jr., and brothers, John and Joseph.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday, August 21, 2023, at the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St Catherine of Siena; 200 Shelton Rd, Trumbull, CT. Interment with full military honors will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
