Thomas A. Petrone, 94, passed away at home in Stratford on April 29th. Born April 5, 1924 in Stamford to George and Mary Petrone, he was married for 61 years to the late Dorothy Lynch Petrone.  Tom served as a medic in the army during WWII.  He was a Stamford firefighter and retired as Deputy Chief after 42 years on the job.  He was a proud member of Local 786, the Hubbard Heights Hasbeens and the Stillwater Indians.  He was a loyal Giants fan and loved country music, playing his harmonica and the slots at Mohegan Sun.  He is survived by his children, Diane Lupinacci of Stratford, Karen (Dale) Brunner of So Carolina and Thomas Jr (Cheryl) of Norwalk, grandchildren Dana (Stan) Cackowski of Trumbull, Jenna Lupinacci of Stratford, Kristen (Brad) Bishop of Iowa and Jaimie Brunner of So Carolina, great grandchildren Melanie and Hailey Cackowskil, Dayton and Colton Bishop. He was also survived by his sister Marilyn (Paul) Parinello of Florida and was predeceased by his brother Ralph Petrone.  A memorial service will be held from 2-4 pm on Sunday, May 6th at the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Constellation Hospice, 240 Indian River Rd., Orange, CT  06477.
