Theresa Antoinette Mojcik, age 96, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Michael G. Mojcik passed away peacefully on November 2, 2017, in her home. Theresa, a homemaker, was born in Jenkins, Kentucky on February 24, 1921 to the late Stephen and Anna (Nemeth) Suich and has been a long time area resident. The most precious thing in her life was her family. Survivors include her devoted children, Karen McNally of Shelton; Dr. Michael S. Mojcik and his wife Susan of Georgia; Dr. Christopher F. Mojcik and his wife RoBin of Shelton; and son-in-law Dr. Robert Cerfolio of New York City; nine grandchildren: Daniel Mojcik, Thomas McNally, Arla Washenko and her husband Peter, Mary Mojcik, Robert M. Cerfolio, Catherine Mojcik, Charles Mojcik, Alec Cerfolio, and Matthew Cerfolio; a great-granddaughter, Eleanor Washenko; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Theresa was pre-deceased by her daughter, Lorraine Cerfolio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 13 ^th at 10:30 am at Saint James Church, 2070 Main Street Stratford; Entombment will be in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
