Theresa J. Giacoia, age 80 of Stratford the widow of Louis L. Giacoia passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport to the late Dominic and Giovanna (Negri) Lioci, she has been a lifelong area resident. She was a member of the Baldwin Center Seniors and had a wonderful circle of friends at the Dunkin' Doughnuts in Hawley Lane and Marnick's at the seawall. Survivors include her 2 beloved and devoted daughters Judith Carson-Fudge and her husband John of Fort Ann, NY and Patricia Migliore of Stratford; her cherished grandchildren: Jennifer Carson, Jessica Carson and Amanda Migliore; a great-grandson Aiden Carson Stiven and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place (TODAY) Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with the Monsignor William Schultz officiating. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:30 – 11:00 am.
