Theodosia Glowatsky Golub, age 93, widow of Samuel (Semyon) Golub entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 24, 2005 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born in Parsons, PA. to the late Michael and Mary Glowatsky, and has resided in Stratford (Lordship) for over seventy years. Mrs. Golub, was a charter member of the St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church Choir, Stratford, and was also member of the Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Church Choir and the Greater Bridgeport Pan-Orthodox Choir. She was a frequent rider on the greater Bridgeport transit system and recently enjoyed playing bingo at Sunset Shores and the Atria in Stratford. She was pre-deceased by her beloved daughter Marina Golub Hungerford, and is survived by her beloved and devoted daughter Stephanie Golub of Stratford, her beloved granddaughter Alexandra Ginieres of Boston, MA, 2 sisters Helen Umphred of Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Lydia Novak of Frazier, MI, and a sister-in-law Helen Glowatsky of Stratford and several nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Thursday October 27th at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Church Bridgeport for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford.
