Theodore Lepesko age 81, of Stratford Connecticut entered into eternal rest on Wednesday January 16, 2013. Ted, a U.S. Army veteran, was born on September 3, 1931 in Bridgeport Connecticut to the late John and Mary (Hrenyo) Lepesko, and was a graduate of Warren Harding High School. He married Margaret Erickson on September 26, 1954, and was a Tool and Die maker at the Bassick Company and worked in the Stratford school system before retiring. Teddy also served on the Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Church council. Dad enjoyed participating in church activities, gardening, and playing cribbage with his friends, watching NY Giants football and UConn basketball. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife Peg include, his sons, David Lepesko and his wife Marcy, and James Lepesko and his wife Susan, his grandchildren Gabrielle, Brendon, Patrick and Kelsey, a sister Natalie Gwara of Bridgeport, his uncle Steve Hrenyo of Bridgeport, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 22nd, a t 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Church Bridgeport, for a Requiem funeral service, with the Rev. Steven Belonik officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4-7 p.m. Panachida will be at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations in Ted's memory to Holy Ghost R.O. Church.
