DiBlasi – Teresa DiBlasi age 50 of Stratford, passed away in Branford Hospice on Thursday February 14, 2008 after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Bridgeport to the late Liberatore and Grazia Capuano DiBlasi, Teresa was a lifelong Stratford resident and graduated from Bunnell High School class of 1975. In 2000 Teresa moved to El Mirage Arizona and was employed as a Lead Resident Assistant for the Cypress Court Assisted Living Home until her illness when she returned home to be with her family. Teresa was very artistic, an awesome gardener and a fantastic cook. She is survived by a sister Josephine Delago of Port Chester NY, a brother Leo Diblasi and Linda Weiss of Stratford, and sisters Sara Zwicharowski and her husband Gene of Stratford and Rebecca Diblasi of Bridgeport. Also her nieces and nephews whom she adored, Gina DiBlasi Juan of Tampa FLA, Stephanie and Amy Zwicharowski, Lori Grazia DiBlasi and Ryan and Jordan Weiss all of Stratford. Teresa was predeceased by her brother Calogero DiBlasi. A prayer service in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Pl. Stratford will be at 4:30 pm with Pastor Stewart Smith of Grace Baptist officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 – 5. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
