Tanya Hlinka Hanna, age 53, of Cheshire, beloved wife of Patrick Hanna, passed away on September 6, 2018 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Tanya was born in Czechoslovakia on April 21, 1965 to Olga Vislocky Hlinka of Shelton and the late Mikulas Hlinka, and had been a long time Shelton resident. She was a graduate of Shelton High School and earned a BS from Sacred Heart University. Tanya was a payroll clerk for the State of Connecticut. Survivors in addition to her husband and mother, include her beloved daughter, Kaley Hanna, her paternal grandmother, Anna Vislocky, sister, Kathy Augustitus and her husband Joseph, and their children, Joseph, Nicole and Marissa, mother-in-law Mary (John) Urbanczyk, aunts, Katherine (John) Lichvar, and Maria (Joseph) Mulle, uncle, Andrej (Irene) Vislocky, cousins, Daniel (Lynora), John and Michael Lichvar, Diane and Michael Vislocky, Kristina, Danielle and Joey Mulle, and John (Beata) Hlinka. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, September 11 ^th at 11:00am meeting directly at the Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, 364 Mill Hill Avenue Bridgeport, for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Monroe. Friends may greet her family on Monday from 5-9 p.m. Panachida will be at 6:00 p.m.
