Susan B. Regensburger, age 65, of Stratford, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on October 19, 2025.

Susan was born in Yonkers, New York on December 19, 1959, to the late Edward R. Arva Sr. and Barbara (Sellers) Arva and had been a longtime area resident.

Survivors include her beloved daughter, Barbara Mason and her partner John of Newtown, cherished grandchildren, Ava and Brett, former husband John (Jean) Regensburger, in-laws, Donna (John) Danbury, Joe (Karen) Regensburger, Gloria (Ed) Cunniff, Anne (Sandy) Cooper, Art Regensburger, and Lisa (Jeff) Szerszen and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sue was pre-deceased by her sister-in-law, Mary Regensburger.

Susan was a devoted grandmother who loved her grandchildren dearly. She touched many lives with her humor, feistiness and unwavering spirit of perseverance, and her resilience will be an inspiration to all who knew her.

Friends and family may visit on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.

Funeral services on Tuesday, October 28 at 10a.m. meeting directly at Stratford United Methodist Church 2600 Main Street Stratford, Inurnment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
