Susan Elaine Mindich McCullough April 8, 1962 –June 20, 2018.
Susan was born in Farnborough, England, raised on Long Island and lived in Old Greenwich, CT, Hong Kong and Macau. Fun loving and caring, her personality was infectious and she made strong friendships that stood the tests of time and distance, wherever she landed. Susan will be remembered for her kindness, quick wit, generosity and love of all things song and dance. After receiving a degree in Rhetoric and Communications, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany, Susan worked for major financial firms in New York City. Her passion, intellect and determination enabled her to excel at her profession: installing and maintaining the latest telecommunications systems for trading floors. Upon moving to Hong Kong, Susan dedicated her life to her sons, Daniel and Colin. Above all else Susan adored her sons and, through enthusiasm and encouragement, devoted herself to providing them the best foundation. She was a committed parent, generous with her time and involved in school as well as extracurriculars. Susan was always there for her boys and was unrelenting in her search for things they may need or want. Nothing-made Susan more proud than watching all that they accomplished. From an early age, Susan loved to travel - her natural curiosity and desire for cultural adventure saw many a stamp mark her passport. She loved cooking and her time spent living and traveling throughout Asia only added to the depth of her culinary interest and abilities.  Never one to miss a chance to see family or friends, be they new or old, Susan thrived in the many communities she touched. Notably, she was an integral part of the many social and sporting clubs of which she was both a loyal member and diligent organizer. Susan was an incredible mother, daughter, sister, and wife. She is predeceased by her father, Martin, and survived by her mother, Sheila, sons, Daniel and Colin, husband, Brian, and sister, Holly. Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 23, 2108 at St. Saviour's Episcopal Church, 350 Sound Beach Ave, Old Greenwich, CT 06870. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to your local SPCA.
