Susan Lazor Gulash, age 98, of Bridgeport, the widow of George Gulash, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the home of her daughter, in Lordship. Mrs. Gulash, a retired assembler for General Electric Co., was born in Czechoslovakia to the late Nicholas and Anna (Plavcan) Lazor, and has been a long time area resident. She was a life long member of the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport, where she was also a member of the Seniors. Survivors include her devoted daughter Helen Grosso and her husband Michael, of Stratford, daughter-in-law Nancy Gulash of Huntington, 3 granddaughters Mary Pagliaro and her husband Ernie of Shelton, Christina Grosso-Oros and her husband Daniel of CA, and Laura Grosso-Peot and her husband Christopher of Washington, DC, 4 great-grandchildren Nathan, Wesley, and Page Peot, and Natalia Pagliaro, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband George, she was also pre-deceased by her son George Gulash, and two sisters Anna Patrick and Helen Senitka. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 8th at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10 a.m. in the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may greet her family on Tuesday (TODAY) from 4-7. Panachida at 4:30 p.m.
