Sue Carbone Stefano, age 100, of Bridgeport, the widow of Mario Stefano, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 in Lord Chamberlain Health Center, Stratford. Mrs. Stefano, a retired hairdresser, was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Anthony and Rose (Taufano) Carbone and has been a long time area resident. Survivors include her beloved daughter, Gloria of Bridgeport, a brother, Ralph Carbone of New Hampshire, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was pre-deceased by her brothers Salvatore, Frank, John and Joseph, and sisters, Rose Luparello and Jean Carillo. The Stefano family would like to thank Dee Miller, Sandy and all of the staff at Lord Chamberlain HCC, for their kind and loving care. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 14th at 9:45 a.m. in the Adzima funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10:30 in St. Andrew's Church Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial.
