Obituary

Stasia Bike Curran age 94 of Stratford, passed away on Tuesday November 15, 2005 in St. Vincent's Medical Center Bridgeport. Mrs. Curran, beloved wife of the late Charles Curran, was born in Wallingford to the late Mary and Jacob Bike. She was a Stratford resident most of her life and worked for seventeen years at General Electric and retired from Coastals. She was a kind, generous and gentle natured person who loved her family and friends, she enjoyed years of weekend picnics and card games with her life long friends. She is survived by her devoted and loving family which includes 4 children: Lynn Cavallo, Charlotte Hojdich and her husband Ronald, and Charles Curran and his wife Judy all of Stratford and Robert Curran of Dover, PA. 6 grandchildren Darlene Miakos, Ronald Wade, Laurie and Julie Hojdich, Stacie Gurreri and Robert Curran Jr., 5 great-grandchildren Liz, Renee, Taylor, Mya and Lia, 2 brothers Alexander Bike and his wife Mary and Edward Bike all of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Joseph and John Bike, sister Alice Strack and her son-in-law Joseph Cavallo. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Funeral services will take place on Friday November 18th at 9:30a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
