Shirley Youngquist Roehrich, age 90 of Trumbull, beloved wife and high school sweetheart of the late Robert G. Roehrich, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018. Shirley was born in Bridgeport on April 30, 1928 to the late Harry and Anna (Keiser) Youngquist, and has been a life long area resident. Survivors include her devoted children, Carl F. Roehrich and his wife Teresa, Linda Sforza and her husband John, Susan Palazzo, and Robert Palazzo, her cherished grandchildren, Sean Sforza, Brad Sforza and Alison Kloots, Eric Sforza and his wife Jessica, Sarah Sforza, Carla Flynn and her husband Will, Carl Roehrich, Victoria Roehrich, Robert S. Roehrich, Michael Palazzo and Meg, and Nicole Palazzo, a great-granddaughter, Ania Flynn, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, December 6 ^th at 11 a.m. meeting directly at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1734 Huntington Turnpike Trumbull, with the Rev. Ellen Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in Nichols Village Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. In lieu of donations those desiring, may celebrate Shirley's life with flowers.
