Sharon L. Parker, age 72, of Stratford, the widow of Robert E. Parker, passed away on January 22, 2025. Sharon was born in Bridgeport on January 27, 1952, to the late Walter and Veronica (Kopac) Polaski and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Stratford High School, class of 1969. She worked at Warnaco in Stratford and retired from A Royal Flush Inc. She was a lover of animals with a miracle of a green thumb, often having a garden and home full of plants.

Survivors include her devoted son, Raymond Bursey Jr. and his wife Amy of York, South Carolina, cherished granddaughters, Brianna and Emily, sisters, Joan Young and Barbara Brassell and her husband Ron and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Sharon was pre-deceased by her sister, Dolores Peters.

Visitation on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 4-7 p.m.; with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment will be private.
