Sally A. (Sedlak) Rappoport, age 75, of West Haven, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Seacrest Retirement Center in West Haven, Born in Bridgeport to the late Steven and Anne (Sproch) Sedklak, she lived her entire life in CT in the towns of Westport, Weston and Milford. Dance was her passion as a youth and in 1965 she graduated from Warren Harding High School where she was a cheerleader. She later attended Central Connecticut State University and the University of Bridgeport, after which she started and managed a company focused on aerobics. She was predeceased her older sister Helen (Sedlak) Butchko. Survivors include her brother, James Sedlak, her nephews, John (Jessica) and Steven (Janet) Butchko; and cousins Jane, John, Mary Jane, Nancy and Bob. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 5-7 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford,.  Requiem Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 11 am in St. John the Baptist Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church, Mill Hill Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Panchida will be Wednesday at 5PM. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Seacrest for their compassionate care throughout the final period of Sally's life.
