Sally Ann Brooks, age 85, of Milford, beloved wife of the late William F. Brooks Jr., passed away peacefully at Lord Chamberlain with her daughter Bonnie and son-in-law Bob at her side on July 17, 2018. .  Born on July 10, 1933 in the Boston Massachusetts area where she grew up.  She moved to Connecticut in the early 1960's Sally was a loving mother who worked from her home while raising four children before finding work outside the home.  She is survived by her four children, William F Brooks III and wife Sharon McNamara; Bradford Brooks and wife Martha; Timothy Brooks and companion Cheryl Doherty and Bonnie Dunn and husband Bob.  She is also survived by six grandchildren, Kelly Rowell and husband Josh, Brad Brooks Jr, Conner Brooks, Kendall Brooks, Erin Dunn and Meghan Dunn, and one great grandchild Kai King.  The Brooks family would like to extend their special appreciation to the nurses and staff of Lord Chamberlain Nursing Center, who showed such dedication, caring, and affection for Sally over the final two years of her life. You helped ease our family's worries during difficult times, and were there comforting Sally through her final moments. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 21 ^st at 11a.m meeting directly at Our Lady of Grace Church, 498 Second Hill Lane Stratford. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet her family on Friday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
