Rosemarie P. Skurja, age 90, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Charles J. Skurja Sr., passed away on February 12, 2021 in Lord Chamberlain Health Center, Stratford.

Rosemarie was born in Jessup, Pennsylvania on May 6, 1930 to the late Michael and Mary (Luchansky) Pitoniak and had been a longtime area resident.

Survivors include her devoted sons, Charles J. Skurja Jr. and his wife Regina of Wallingford, and Gerard Skurja and his wife Stephanie of Milford, cherished grandchildren, David Skurja, Gerard Skurja, Emily Destin and her husband Bryan, Scott Skurja and Mitchell Skurja-DeCesare, great-grandson Colby Skurja, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Rosemarie was pre-deceased by her brothers, Michael, Thomas, and John Pitoniak, and sisters, Margaret Sedor, Mary Rabel, Veronica Zuklie, and Helen Potanovich.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on (**CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER**) Saturday, February 20 ^th at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at Holy Name of Jesus Church 1950 Barnum Avenue Stratford. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Everyone in attendance must follow the COVID 19 guidelines and wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Rosemarie was an amazing cook who loved preparing meals for her family. In lieu of flowers the family request that you donate to your local food bank.
