Rosemarie Allis Brown, age 79 of Stratford, the beloved wife of Gerald Brown Sr, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bridgeport to the late Michael C. and Adela (Hruby) Allis and has been a lifelong Stratford resident. Survivors in addition to her husband of 60 years, Gerald, include her devoted children, Donna Basta and her husband Kevin, Gerald Brown Jr and his wife Katherine, Ronald Brown, Lisa Brown and Charisse Corsale and her husband Mario, her loving grandchildren, Kevin Basta, Amanda Basta and Gregorio Corsale, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Rosemarie was predeceased by a sister Elaine Herb and brothers Stephen and Robert Patrick. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 9:30 am in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:00 am in Holy Name of Jesus Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, 500 Moose Hill Road, Monroe. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 am.
