Rose Helen Labash, age 94, of Trumbull, passed away on January 4, 2026. Rose was born in Bridgeport on April 3, 1931, to the late George and Mary (Feltovich) Labash and was a lifelong Fairfield County resident. 

She was a graduate of Warren Harding High School and earned her bachelor's degree and master’s degree from Central Connecticut State Teacher’s College and her sixth-year teaching certificate from the University of Bridgeport. A lifelong teacher, Rose taught business skills to Bunnell High School students for over three decades and received fond recognition as their longstanding senior class advisor. 

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, who she delighted in sending cards that displayed her fine sense of humor: Mary Ellen Andras, John (Trina) Andras, Jeffery A. (Gabrielle) Young, Amy M. Young, and Leslie Lee Labash-Richard. Rose was the last of a close-knit family, pre-deceased by her siblings, John, George, Michael and Robert Labash, Mary (Labash) Andras and Margaret (Labash) Young. 

Visitation on Monday, January 12th from 10:30-11:30 in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, with prayers starting at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Stratford.
