Rosalie A. Kekacs, age 89, of Stratford, passed away on August 15, 2021, in Bridgeport Hospital.

Rosalie was born in Bridgeport on August 4, 1932, to the late Andrew and Mary (Buypal) Kekacs and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of St. John Commercial High School and worked as a secretary for Remington Arms, and General Electric. Rosalie was a lifelong member of the Slovak Catholic Sokols and devoted many years to caring for her parents. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, and the UCONN men and women's basketball teams.

Survivors include her brothers, Daniel of Stratford and Joseph of West Hartford, nephews, Andrew Kekacs of Nova Scotia, Joshua Kekacs and his wife Deborah of Higganum, and nieces, Susan and husband Tom Tall of Shelton, Donna DeRubis of Stratford, and Hannah Estes of Auburn, Maine, and many grand nephews and nieces. She also leaves a dear cousin, Mary Ann Duggan of Rhode Island.

Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
