Ronald Gene Nelson, age 25, of Stratford, the beloved son of Ron and Amy Nelson, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Born in Bridgeport on July 6, 1997, to Ronald S. and Amy L. Gallagher Nelson, Ronnie was a lifelong Stratford resident. He was a graduate of the Bunnell High School class of 2015, where he received the David Johnson Sportsmanship Award. Ronnie was employed with Rocco's Landscaping. He was an avid golfer and lifelong athlete who enjoyed trips to the casino. His #1 passion in life was his family. Survivors in addition to his parents are his sisters, Catherine and Haley and his brother, Ryan, his paternal grandmother Margaret Berendt and her husband William, his maternal grandparents, Marilyn and Eugene Gallagher, aunts and uncles, Sean Gallagher and his wife Patty, Dawn Nicefaro and her husband Edward, Brandi Dressel, and Eugene Gallagher III, his Godson, Jameson Chambers, and several cousins. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 4-7 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, May 11 ^th at 11 am directly in Our Lady of Grace Church Stratford. Interment will be private.
