Ronald Yurecko Jr., age 44, of West Haven, passed away suddenly on April 1, 2014 in his home. Ron, a self-employed truck driver, was born in Bridgeport, beloved son of Ronald and Judith (LeRoy) Yurecko Sr., and has been a life long area resident. He was a 1987 graduate of Stratford High School. Ron loved to play his guitar, and was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed watching the races with family and friends on TV or traveling to the track. He was also fan of the Pittsburg Steelers, and enjoyed attending the games with his father. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Survivors in addition to his beloved parents are his sister, Darlene Yurecko of Derby, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his grandparents, Anthony and Anna LeRoy, Ignatius Yurecko and Helen Keeler. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 8th at 11 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, with Rev. John Stronkowski officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Monday from 4-7 p.m.
