Ronald J. Golias, age 66, of Stratford, beloved husband of Angela Carlson Golias, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012 in his home. Ron, a retired Tool and Dye Maker for BIC Corporation, was born in Bridgeport to the late Andrew and Susie (Banik) Golias and has been a life long area resident. He was an avid boater and fisherman, and was a member and former Commodore of Pootatuck Yacht Club, and the Stratford B.O.A. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife include a son Mark Golias and his wife Kim of Ohio, 2 grandchildren Jyllian and Brandyn, 2 step-grandchildren Tina Ingram and her husband Trevor, and Michael Gray, 2 great-grandchildren Gretchin and Preston, a brother David Golias and his companion Linda Kapitan of Stratford and a sister Linda French and her husband Richard of FL, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may greet his family on Friday, November 23 rd from 11-12 noon in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A prayer service will be held at noon, followed by a reception at Pootatuck Yacht Club. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to a charity of choice in Ron's memory. .
