Robert J. Semanchik, age 81, of Oxford, the beloved husband of Faith Halupka Semanchik, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Bridgeport on February 1, 1942 to the late John and Mary (Gilbert) Semanchik, he had been a lifelong Bridgeport resident prior to moving to Oxford 52 years ago. Bob was a retired Vice President of operations for The Waterbury Company and prior to that was a production manager for Schick. He was an avid woodworker, who enjoyed fixing things, and loved his 1979 Datsun 280ZX. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 57 years include his devoted daughters, Natalie Eales and her husband Martin of England, Andrea Iacomacci and her husband Carl of Seymour and Stephanie Clermont and her companion James Dickson of Middlebury, his cherished grandchildren, Epernay and Emily Eales, Adam and Claudia Iacomacci, Gunner and Garrison Clermont, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call on Friday from 4-7 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A Panachida will be at 4:30 pm. Interment will be on Saturday, January 6th at 10 am in St. John's Cemetery Stratford.
