Robert Patrick (Bob), age 79, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 25,2017,after a long illness. He was the son of the late George and Susan Patrick.  Bob was born in Bridgeport on January 3, 1938. Survivors include his loving sister, Sandra Bogen of Summerville, South Carolina, nephew, Daniel Bogen and his wife, Allyson of Ansonia, Connecticut, grandniece, Anastazia Bogen of Ansonia, Connecticut, a special Aunt, Margaret Janovich of Hampton, Virginia and many cousins. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother-in-law, Dennis Bogen, who always made him his favorite sugar cookies. In his early years, Bob was an avid fisherman and also played the piano, entertaining the family with Polka music. A special "Thank You" goes to the many compassionate caregivers at Bridgeport Manor, where Bob called home for many years. All services will be private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home –Stratford.
