Robert E. Parker Jr., age 60, of Stratford the beloved husband of Sharon Polaski Parker, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Beverly, MA to Mary Tarr Parker and the late Robert E. Parker Sr, Bob has been a longtime Stratford resident. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp and served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 200 and the Tennessee Squires. In addition to his wife Sharon and his mother Mary Parker of Haverhill, MA, Bob is survived by a son Raymond Bursey Jr. and his wife Amy of Stratford, two granddaughters, Brianna and Emily Bursey, a brother Ozzie Hardy of Haverhill, MA, two sisters, Mary Flood of Stratford and Penny Bourque of Marinette, WI and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 4-7PM in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Full Military Honors will take place at 6:45PM Interment will be private.
