Robert Edward Mescavage, age 88, of Stratford, the beloved husband of Marie Laskowsky Mescavage passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in Bridgeport Hospital. Born In Shenandoah, PA on April 7, 1937, to the late John and Elizabeth Wojciniwicz Mescavage and has been a lifelong area resident. Bob was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired from Textron Lycoming with over 30 years as a Technical Illustrator. He was a member of the Germanian Schwaben Club and the Textron ¼ Century Club. Survivors in addition to his wife of 63 years include his children, Robert S. Mescavage of Cold Brook, NY, Douglas Mescavage and his wife Erica of Southbury, David Mescavage and his partner Russell Richards of Riverside, RI and Christina Legér and her husband Francis of Daytona Beach Shores, FL, grandchildren, Jordan, Jackson and Lucille Legér, Henry and Nathan Mescavage, sisters, Justine Gunowsky and her husband Robert and Barbara Salvadore, a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Mescavage  and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by a brother, John Mescavage.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 28th at 10 am in St. Mark Church 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford. Interment will take place in Shenandoah, PA.
