Robert J. Forti Sr., age 67, of Stratford, passed away on May 14, 2020 in St. Joseph's Center, Trumbull. Bob was born in Bridgeport on June 26, 1952 to the late Angelo and Carmella (Mazey) Forti and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Bullard Havens Technical High School and was a self-employed painter. Survivors include his son Robert Forti Jr., a sister, Kathleen Dzujna and her husband Andy, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was pre-deceased by his brother Richard Forti, and sisters, Shirley Arsenault, and Arlene Zayas. Due to the current health situation Robert's family has elected to have a private family service. The Adzima Funeral Home-Stratford has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
