Robert N. DeLorenzo, age 77, of Stratford, beloved husband of Judith Borucki DeLorenzo, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 in his home. Bob, a Peacetime Veteran of the U.S. Army was born in Bridgeport, to the late Arthur and Mary (Mastriano) DeLorenzo, and has been a life long area resident. He was retired from Carpenter Steel Co. Bob was a hardworking man, who was an avid fan of his grandchildren's sporting events, dance recitals, and anything else they were involved in, he loved nothing more, than spending time with his beloved family. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife, include his devoted daughters, Robin Lupinski and her husband Bogdan of Stratford, Nichole Gombas and her husband James of Naugatuck and Janine Liberatore and her husband Jerome of Shelton, 3 cherished grandchildren, Anna, Leah, and Benjamin, 2 brothers, Thomas DeLorenzo and his wife Dorothy of Stratford, and Albert DeLorenzo and his wife Lucille of Milford, a sister, Kathleen Krotchko of Shelton, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was pre-deceased by his siblings, John DeLorenzo, Marie Rotz, Michelle Murphy, and Arthur DeLorenzo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 31st meeting directly at Holy Name of Jesus Church 1950 Barnum Avenue Stratford. Interment will be private. Friends may greet his family on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
