Robert G. Brassell age 66, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006 in Yale New Haven Hospital with his son Danny, daughter-in-law Carey, brother Ronnie and sister-in-law Barbara by his side. Born in Bridgeport he has been a life long area resident residing in New Haven for the past six years. Bob Graduated from Harding High School and attended Housatonic Community College, and was a retired driver for Quickie Cab Co. in Bridgeport. Survivors include his Son Daniel J. Brassell and his wife Carey of Milford; 2 brothers Ronald Brassell and his wife Barbara of Milford and Donald Brassell of Bridgeport; 3 grandchildren; Stephanie, Briana and Anthony Brassell; nieces and nephews Linda Petonito and her children Melissa, Margaret and Steven; several other nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his mother Marie (Ertelt) Brassell and a sister Sharon Favareau. Funeral services will take place on Friday, July 7, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment will be in St. Thomas Cemetery Fairfield.
