Robert J. Anderson, age 70, of Bridgeport, passed away on December 22, 2016 in his home. Robert, a retired Truck Driver for Marshall Express was born in Bridgeport to the late Harry and Amelia (Porado) Anderson and has been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Harding High School and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #191. Robert was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins. Survivors include his beloved daughters, Karyn Anderson and her fiancé Mark Lindsey of Bridgeport and Katlyn Anderson of Stratford, a grandson, Robert Anderson III, and his lifelong friend Daniel Poynter of Florida. In addition to his parents, Robert was pre-deceased by his son, Robert Anderson II, and his former wife, Sandra Beaudry Anderson. Friends may greet his family on Friday, January 6 ^th from 5-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to his daughter, Karyn Anderson.
