Richard M. Kosa, age 78, of Stratford, passed away on January 13, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital.

Richard was born in Bridgeport on January 5, 1943 to the late Edward and Mary (Banik) Kosa and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Harding High School and worked at Jenkins Valve Co., AVCO-Lycoming and Knapp's Landing. Richard was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his devoted brothers, William Kosa and his wife Mary Jane, and Edward Kosa and his wife Diane and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Richard was pre-deceased by the love of his life, Karen Rector.

A graveside service will take place on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. John's Cemetery, 2610 Nichols Avenue Stratford.   Everyone in attendance must follow the COVID 19 guidelines, wear a mask and practice social distancing.
