Petro Godovanets passed away on March 24, 2015 after long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Anastasiya and children Ulyana and Volodymyr. Petro was born on July 1st, 1956 in Ukraine to the late Vasyl and Paraskoviya Godovanets. Petro had rich and fulfilled life devoted to serving people. He had 3 degrees, including B.S. Mathematics & Physics from Precarpathian State University, Master of Management from Lviv State Agricultural University and Master of Governmental Management from Ivano-Frankivisk University of Oil and Gas. He served in the number of government offices in Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ukraine through his life. In his free time, Petro enjoyed going hunting with his dog.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 12 noon in Holy Protection of Blessed Virgin Mary Ukranian Catholic Church, 457 Noble Ave, Bridgeport, Connecticut 06608.
