Peter Kostas Poniros, age 78, of Hamden, passed away on July 23, 2026. Peter was born in Bridgeport on September 23, 1947, to the late Kostas and Effie (Coffes) Poniros and had been a lifelong area resident. 

He was a U.S. Airforce veteran of the Viet Nam War and retired as a Casino Dealer. Survivors include his devoted children, Kostas and Alegre and brothers, Louis and Andrew. 

Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
