Peter A. Merva, age 58, of Naples. Florida, formerly of Stratford, passed away on August 24, 2022, in Naples Community Hospital.

Pete was born in Bridgeport on March 18, 1964, beloved son of Mary Ann Mangiacapra Merva and the late Andrew Merva. He was the Operations Manager for Youth Haven in Naples Florida and was a member of the Connecticut Chapter of the Plumber and Pipe Fitters Union Local 777, prior to moving to Florida.

Survivors in addition to his mother, include his devoted twin brother, Paul and his wife Mary, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his father, Pete was pre-deceased by his brother, John.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 16 ^th at 10:00 a.m. meeting directly at Holy Name of Jesus Church 1950 Barnum Avenue Stratford. Inurnment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.

In lieu of flowers those desiring may make a donation in memory of Peter to the Shriners Hospital New England, Springfield MA, David Lawrence Center, Naples FL or Youth Haven, Naples FL.
