Peter T. Jordhamo, age 81, of Fairfield, beloved husband of Florence Vrabel Jordhamo, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 in his home. Peter, a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War was born in Albania to the late Thomas and Kulla (George) Jordhamo, and has been a long time area resident. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants, and enjoyed playing golf, gardening, and collecting stamps and coins. Peter was a member of the VFW, and an active member of St. George Orthodox Church, Trumbull, where he was a former member of the parish council. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife, include his devoted daughter, Lisa Kosinski and her husband Glenn of Fairfield, 3 cherished grandchildren, Michael Kosinski of Bridgeport, Katie Roessner and her husband Ryan of Norwalk, and Leanne Kosinski of Chicago, a great-granddaughter, Mia Rose, a sister, Irene Hughes and her husband Neil of Florida, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his siblings, Christina Toraya, James and Nicholas Jordhamo. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 21st at 9 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10 a.m. in St. George Orthodox Church, Trumbull. Interment with full military honors will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
