Peter Marshall Callender, age 61, beloved husband of Maryann Callender, passed away peacefully at Treasure Coast Hospice (Stuart, FL) on March 8, 2026. Born in Meriden, CT on April 24,1964, he was the cherished son of the late Edwin A. Sr. and Rosemary H. Callender.

Peter leaves behind his two loving daughters, Kelly Spragg and her husband Howard, and Ashley Lockwood and her husband Gregory. Peter also leaves behind his cherished granddaughter, Vanessa Spragg, who filled his life with happiness.

He is also survived by his siblings: Edwin, Kenneth, Robert, Margie, Colleen, Timothy, Gordon, and John, along with several nieces and nephews, who will remember him fondly.

Peter enjoyed camping, woodworking, and fishing. He enjoyed the outdoors near the water. Peter will be remembered for his kind heart and the deep love he held for his family. His memory will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Peter at a memorial service on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Stratford United Methodist Church, 2600 Main Street, Stratford, Connecticut.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Stroke Association.
