Penny Marie Bucko, age 51 of Stratford, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport to Joseph and Barbara (Durica) Bucko of New Britain, CT, Penny has been a lifetime area resident. A graduate of Stone academy in 1981 she was a hairdresser at Vangie's Hair Salon in Stratford and especially loved cutting children's hair. She has recently graduated from Butler Business School as a Medical/Clinical Assistant. Penny had a love for the outdoors and the beach in the summertime and going to the Casino. In addition to her parents she is survived by two brothers, Joseph Bucko III of Stratford and Jeff Bucko and his companion Linda Toce of New Britain, a sister Debbie McSperrin and her husband Bruce of Beacon Falls, two nephews, Zack McSperrin, whom she was very close to and Max McSperrin, a niece Grace McSperrin, her Uncle and Godfather Tom Durica of Shallotte, NC and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may greet the family on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 4-7 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise green Place Stratford. Prayers will be at 6:30pm. Interment will be private.
