Pellegrino Millo, age 82 of Seymour formerly of Bridgeport, died on Saturday, July 24, 2010 in the Birmingham HCC in Derby. Born in Bridgeport to the late Antonio and Bettina (Abbarelli) Millo, he has been a life long Bridgeport resident prior to moving to Seymour 5 years ago. He was a retired riveter of 42 years with Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford. Survivors include a daughter Lorraine Millo Deering and her husband William of Seymour; his former wife Dorothy Adeski Millo of Stratford; 2 grandsons Daniel Deering Sr. and his wife Desiree of Naugatuck, Steven Deering of Seymour; 2 great-grandsons Daniel Deering Jr and Dominic Anthony Deering; a brother Santo Millo and his wife Paulette of Stratford; sisters Betty Feller and her husband Warren of Monroe, Theresa Julian of Trumbull; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters John Milo Sr., Anthony Millo Sr., Ida Shinglar and Connie Dattola and Susan Lang. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 9:15 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and 10:00 am in Holy Name of Jesus Church in Stratford with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery 500 Moose Hill Rd Monroe. Friend may call on Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
